About Me

I was born and raised in Midland TX and couldn't wait to get out. After getting a taste of the big city life I ended up back in my home town. I married my wonderful husband Eric in March of 2006 and come September 11th our little Angel Cole was born. Life changed in an instant and I couldn't imagine life with out my boys. Eric is the most amazing father, my rock and ever quiet support and Cole is the joy of my life.I never knew that one person could bring so much unconditional love. They make me who I am today and because of that I am forever grateful

We had a wonderful Christmas this year but of course it always goes by way to fast. Here are few pics and as always thanks to my sis in laws I wouldn't have any if it werent for them!! Cole was a blast this year since he is a little older however we tried hard not to make Christmas all about presents and more about the gift of our Savior. Try getting a three year old to understand that admist the sea of presents. We thought he would be all into Santa and discoverd we should do it Christmas morning and not Christmas Eve as he was exhausted from the day and was very calm about ole St. Nick coming to visit. We will know better next year.

2009 definitley has had it ups and downs however overall we have been so blessed. I am looking towards an even better 2010

Fall Festival Fun!!

Yesterday Shandi and I took the kids to the Fall Festival. The kids had such a blast despite the heat. They all looked so adorable and I have to admit Cole and Keira dressed up like Mickey and Minnie had to be the cutest thing I have ever seen; even if they didn’t win the costume party! Kadyn had the coolest costume as The Joker. I thought Cole was going to be scared when he saw him as he is terrified of Halloween costumes but he walked right up to him. Here are a few pics that Shandi took.

It's Been a While

It has been a really long time since I have been able to update my blog. I have been extremely busy at work, in addition to this mine and Becky’s Cake Ball business has been keeping us pretty busy. We are very excited and are having a blast with it. Please remember to check our website www.gohaveaball.net. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner and we have lots to offer. My sweet little baby boy turned three and I cried of course. He has been become such a little man and he amazes me every day. We decided to sign him up for flag football and it has got to be the cutest darn thing in the world to watch. We are proud to say he got his first touch down at his game on Monday. He was so excited!! I got to experience the flu last week which completely knocked me out as I couldn’t get off the couch. I am glad to say I am finally feeling better and almost back to completely feeling normal. My hubby had his 10 year reunion last week and we had so much fun!! I don’t have much more for today but will try very hard to keep up with my updates! I hope everyone is doing well!

Happy Birthday Cole!!

My baby boy is turning 3 tomorrow and I can’t believe it. I wonder how we went from sleepless nights; two in the morning feedings and diaper changes to potty trained and can’t get my little man out of the bed. Tears come to my eyes as I write this post thinking I wish I could freeze time or go back to the days we he was just barely sitting up or the first time we heard him laugh out load. I remember Eric and I just thought that was that was the best moment in the world and we had to call each and every family member to tell them. Time goes by in the blink of an eye and I am reminded that as each year passes by to cherish this moments with my baby boy because before we know he will be 16 and driving. I have to share a moment I had with Cole that just bring a smile to my face and I realize how much of his daddy he has in him. He may be three but he definitely knows how to work the system. The other night he really really wanted me to come watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with him, of course I am doing stuff around the house and he comes and grabs my hand and looks up to me with those big brown eyes and says “ Come here pretty lady and watch it with me”. First I am thinking where did he hear this and then I think how I can deny that because in 10 years from now he will be wiping my kisses off his cheeks. So of course I sat through my 10th viewing of TMNT and it was worth every minute. So here is to my little man who has shown me what unconditional love is all about, taught me patience, that life is too short to go without laughter and smiles everyday; and for reminding Eric and I to say Grace before we sit down to eat and thank the good Lord above for our blessings. You melt my heart every time I see you and I thank God everyday for bringing us our little surprise. He is the best gift I have ever received. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Family Reunion 2009

This past weekend we had Eric’s side of the family-family reunion in San Angelo. Unfortunately Eric was working so he didn’t get there until Sunday night (the reason he is not in one picture) but Cole and I had such a blast. Rainnie and Ramon brought their boat which everyone was so grateful for and Grammy bought the kids some fishing poles. Cole loves his fishing pole so much that is all he can talk about is when he gets to fish next. Here are pics from our fun filled weekend that went by entirely to fast.
